Pauza (originally known as Pau3a!) is Peace Corps Macedonia's quarterly publication featuring the life and times of Peace Corps in Macedonia. It was launched in 2003 by MAK 7s as a way to connect with volunteers throughout the country. Formerly a print publication, the magazine featured PCV activities, horoscopes, comics, crosswords, interviews, and recipes. Like other ongoing PCV projects, Pauza has undergone many changes and evolutions throughout the years, but remains a staple of the MAK PCV community. 

 

Today Pauza is produced entirely in digital format and contains many of the same great features that were available at its inception. The magazine is currently available online, powered by Joomag, as well as in a downloadable .pdf format. This website was created by MAK 16 volunteers as a permanent home for Pauza. The archive currently houses issues as far back as 2005. If you have physical or digital copies of earlier editions of Pauza that you would like to contribute to the archive, please contact us.
